Top 5 Favorite Candles

My obsession for candles has been sooo real lately and I know I'm not the only one! Thanks to the combination of my bestie (hi Emily) and Bath & Body Works having their awesome sales on candles, I am always so tempted to just blow all my money. That was a little dramatic but you get the point.
So I thought it would be fun for me to share with you guys what my top 5 favorite candles are. They are all from Bath & Body Works too!

5. Tis the Season

4. Snowday

3.Watermelon Lemonade

2.Coconut Leaves

1. Marshmallow Fireside

All of these candles I totally recommend if you are looking for some new candles to burn around your house.
Of course I burn these scents according to season, but who says you cant burn Marshmallow Fireside during the summer?
If you have any suggestions on candles I should try, let me know!

Till next time

14 Things I Learned in 2014

So I saw a girl do a video on YouTube on this topic and found it pretty interesting so I figured, why not share with ya'll a few things that I learned not only about myself, but other people as well.
Yes I know, it may seem a little late to be doing this post but whatever I still wanna do it!

1) Be active EVERYDAY, trust me, you will feel a lot better.
2) Taking a girls trip with your best friends is definitely something that every group of girls needs to do.
3) If he doesn't take you out, red flags! stop. move on.
4) Respect yourself, and know your worth. (kinda goes along with numero 3.)
5) Not everyone is who they say they are.
6) A little wine and Italian food can fix everything.
7) Embrace change.
8) No experience is ever a waste of time, you learned something right?
9) Wear lipstick as often as you want.
10) Hold your family close
11) Have confidence but stay humble
12) Learning to let go is the hardest thing to do, but it needs to be done.
13) Crying on the phone with your best friend is all the therapy you need.
14) Things happen, its the way you choose to handle everything.

Well there you go, 14 things I learned last year. Its personal, but I don't mind sharing a little part of me. That is what a blog is for anyways...

Until next time!

December Glam Bag review

It's the middle of January so I think now is a good time to do my December Glam Bag review... Whats new.
Anyways...this bag, I would have to say, this bag was a winner. It's been the first bag that I use every single product daily (except one which I'll explain)
My only complaint is the actual bag everything came in because it wasn't as cute as the other ones but they cant please everyone I guess.
This is what came in my bag last month:

If I had to pick one favorite though, that would be the Tarte Mascara. It separates my eyelashes just the way I like them, but when I use it with my Jordana mascara, my eyelashes are on point!

I also really enjoyed using the Pixi Dust. I used it as a highlight but I assume you could use it as an eye shadow too. It's that one color that I think would look beautiful on all skin types.

The NYX Lip Butter was very....buttery. I guess that's a way to describe it. Just a regular lip balm to me. The color I'm not sure I like on myself but I make it work.

Now the one product I still haven't tried out is the Cool Way Conditioner. Only because I always forget to put it in my shower and by the time I remember I have it, I am already in the shower.
But I promise I will try it soon and give an update as to how I liked it!

My January Glam bag should be coming soon so you could probably guess the review for that one probably wont be out till February. (My birthday month!!!) Better late than never right?

Don't forget to subscribe to Ipsy if you all have been loving these Glam Bag Reviews!

Hair Care!

Lets travel back in time a little bit where I talked about my hair, this is going to be an extension to that. Mainly about how I take care of my hair on a daily basis.

Before I continue though, after that first post I immediately got questions as to where I get my hair done. So I want to give all credit to Miss Linda at Simply You. (hi Linda) She has been doing my hair FOREVER and knows everything about my hair, so she is probably the only person I trust to do my hair.

With that being said Linda has taught me a lot of what I need to know about maintaining my hair especially with wearing weave. I have also learned a lot from YouTube and other bloggers. Thank god for them right?

First, moisture is soooo important. You never want your weave or your hair to get too dry because ladies, that's never cute. Especially when you use a lot of heat (like me). So hair oil is essential and your hairs bestie.

I recommend products like, Its a 10 Miracle Leave in Product, Organix Coconut Milk serum, and Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hold and Shine Moisture Mist. All of which are super light and never leave your hair feeling or looking super greasy
& Always try to remember to use a heat protectant when applying heat tools!
DONT overdue it with the products on your weave because you don't want to weigh down your hair.

But that's when the shampoo and conditioner come into play. I live for the Organix products so you could probably guess that's the type of shampoo and conditioner I use.
For shampoo I use the Macadamia and conditioner I use Coconut.

Washing your hair is important but not something that you should be doing everyday. While wearing weave I recommend once a week.
Find a regime that fits your lifestyle and stick to it!

Remember, its also about what you put into your body as well; drink lots of water, stick to a balanced diet, and exercise on the regular. All of that helps your natural hair stay healthy
& that's it ladies!

How I style my hair might become a blog post in the near future so stay tuned!

But if  there is anything that I missed that you are still curious about, let me know! Always open to answering questions!

p.s go visit Miss Linda!
